WELCOME TO MY SITE

I'm a former broadcaster, returning college student, and part-time musician. My last position was programmer for KAAN AM/FM in Bethany, Missouri. During my seven years with the company, I reported, wrote news, anchored, engineered, and produced ad spots.

About three years ago, I left my position at KAAN to return to college. I'm currently finishing a bachelors in convergent media at Missouri Western State University here in St. Joseph, Missouri, and plan to go on to earn my masters in integrated media once I've completed that program.

My biggest interest is music. I sing, plus play harmonica, guitar, Dobro and mandolin. I've played metal, hard rock, country, blues, and folk both solo and in bands. Right now, I sing lead and play in Early Blur, a St. Joseph-based country/rock/blues band. I've done one solo album project years back, with another one on the way.

I the course of all of this activity, I've been involved with photography, Web design, graphic design, video production, and have just began to get into film making.
